5.1 Email Verification

PROS includes an email verification workflow for authenticated users. The verification page instructs the user to verify the email address using the link that was sent.

If the verification message needs to be sent again, select Resend verification email. The resend route is rate-limited.

5.2 Completing Email Verification

  1. Open the verification email delivered to your registered address.
  2. Select the signed verification link.
  3. If the address was not previously verified, PROS marks it verified.
  4. The user is redirected to the Dashboard with the status Email verified.

5.3 Resending the Verification Message

  1. Open the Verify your email screen.
  2. Select Resend verification email.
  3. When accepted, the interface reports Verification link sent.
  4. Check the registered inbox, spam, and filtering folders.

5.4 Forgotten Password

From the Sign in page, select Forgot?. The Reset password page asks for the account email and can send a password reset link.

  1. Enter the email address associated with the PROS account.
  2. Select Send reset link.
  3. Open the password-reset message.
  4. Follow the reset URL to the Choose a new password screen.

5.5 Choosing a New Password

The reset form requires the reset token, a valid email, a new password, and confirmation. The new password must contain at least 8 characters.

  1. Confirm the email shown in the reset form.
  2. Enter the new password.
  3. Enter the same value in Confirm password.
  4. Select Reset password.
  5. After a successful reset, return to Sign in and authenticate with the new password.

5.6 If the Reset Email Cannot Be Sent

If the mail system fails while attempting to send a reset message, PROS can display Password reset email could not be sent. Please check mail settings.

That error is related to email delivery rather than the correctness of the password you are attempting to create.

5.7 Signing Out

Use the profile menu in the Topbar and select Logout. PROS logs the current user out, invalidates the current session, regenerates the security token, and returns to Sign in.

Shared devices: Always sign out when using a shared or public computer.

5.8 Account Recovery Best Practices

  1. Keep the registered email account accessible.
  2. Use a unique password that is not reused across unrelated services.
  3. Do not share password-reset links.
  4. If a team member loses access, a workspace owner/admin can manage that user from Team & Permissions when authorized.
  5. A disabled workspace must be addressed through support; password recovery does not change tenant status.
