11.1 Opening the QR Builder

Select QR Codes from the Sidebar. The page contains the QR Builder above the Saved QR codes listing. Select New QR Code to open a fresh builder when your plan still allows another QR Code.

11.2 If the QR Limit Has Been Reached

The page checks the current QR Code count against the workspace limit. When creation capacity has been reached, the New QR Code action can direct you to the Billing/upgrade area instead of opening a new builder.

11.3 Choosing a Content Type

Begin on the Content tab and select one of the 17 content types. The visible input fields change according to the selected type.

  1. URL
  2. Image
  3. PDF
  4. Text
  5. WiFi
  6. Map
  7. Application
  8. Email
  9. vCard
  10. Phone
  11. SMS
  12. WhatsApp
  13. Telegram
  14. Event
  15. Bitcoin
  16. Video
  17. Multi-Link

11.4 QR Name

Enter a QR name. This is the internal title used in the workspace listing and Analytics references. It is required and can contain up to 160 characters.

Use names that make sense later, such as Fall Expo Booth QR or Product Brochure PDF QR, rather than generic labels such as Test 1.

11.5 Custom Code

For URL-oriented QR creation, the builder exposes Custom code. A new code can use letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores and must be unique in the workspace.

If the builder code is blank at submission time, the client can generate a temporary code value; the backend can also generate a unique code for a normal creation request when one is not provided.

11.6 Entering Content

The content area validates the fields required by the selected type before submission. Some examples:

TypeRequired by the builder
URLA valid Destination URL including http:// or https://.
TextPlain text content.
WiFiNetwork SSID.
MapAddress/place/latitude-longitude query.
PhonePhone number.
SMSSMS phone number.
WhatsAppWhatsApp phone number.
TelegramTelegram username.
EmailValid email address.
vCardAt least first or last name, plus at least phone or email.
EventEvent title and event start date/time.
BitcoinBitcoin address.
Multi-LinkAt least one complete caption + valid URL pair.
ApplicationAt least one valid App Store or Play Store URL.

11.7 Builder Validation

If a required field is missing or invalid, the builder displays Please fix the highlighted issues before saving. and returns focus to the Content tab.

  1. URLs must use valid http/https syntax where a web URL is required.
  2. Custom code may only use letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores.
  3. Passwords must contain at least 8 characters.
  4. Expiration must occur after the start date.
  5. Event end must occur after event start.
  6. Multi-Link URLs must include a valid web scheme.

11.8 Moving Through the Builder

After the content is correct, move through Design, Logo, Frame & CTA, Config, and Download as needed. You do not have to use every customization option. A simple high-contrast QR with a tested destination is often more reliable than an over-designed code.

11.9 Saving

Select Save for a new QR or Update while editing. After successful creation, PROS returns to the QR page with QR code created. A successful edit returns QR code updated.
