13.1 Creating a vCard QR Code

Choose vCard to create contact-card content. The builder provides First name, Last name, Company, Phone, Email, and Website fields.

The builder requires at least a first or last name and at least a phone number or email address. PROS encodes the content in vCard 3.0 format and returns it as vCard content from the public resolver.

1. Enter a QR name.
2. Enter First name and/or Last name.
3. Add Company when relevant.
4. Enter Phone and/or Email.
5. Optionally add Website.
6. Save and test the QR with a mobile contact application.

13.2 Creating an Email QR Code

Choose Email. The fields are Email address, Subject, and Message body. Email address is required and validated for email format.

The generated content uses a mailto: link so supported devices can open a new email draft with the supplied values.

13.3 Creating a Phone QR Code

Choose Phone and enter a Phone number. The resulting QR uses a tel: destination so supported mobile devices can open the dialer.

13.4 Creating an SMS QR Code

Choose SMS. Enter Phone number and optionally an SMS body. The resulting content uses an sms: link and includes the encoded body when supplied.

13.5 Creating a WhatsApp QR Code

Choose WhatsApp. Enter Phone with country code and optionally a Prefilled message.

The builder removes non-numeric characters from the WhatsApp phone before creating the wa.me destination. Use the complete country code so the intended recipient is reached.

13.6 Creating a Telegram QR Code

Choose Telegram. Enter the Telegram username and optionally a message. A leading @ is removed before the t.me destination is created.

13.7 Privacy and Accuracy

Contact information: Only publish contact details that you are authorized to share. A QR Code can be photographed or forwarded beyond the location where you originally distribute it.

13.8 Testing Contact and Messaging QR Codes

1. vCard: confirm the contact fields import correctly.
2. Email: confirm recipient, subject, and body appear as intended.
3. Phone: confirm the correct number is presented before calling.
4. SMS: confirm the correct recipient and message body.
5. WhatsApp: confirm the country code and number open the intended conversation.
6. Telegram: confirm the username exists and the link opens the expected account.
