The Config tab provides controls for password protection, optional activation scheduling, expiration, and the active state of the QR Code.
Enter an optional password to require the scanner to pass a password screen before PROS resolves the protected QR destination. The password must be 8–100 characters.
On a protected QR, a GET request shows the password page. An incorrect submitted password returns the same page with an invalid state; a correct password allows resolution to continue.
When editing a QR, the password field can be left blank to keep the current saved password. The edit interface also includes Remove saved password when you want to make the QR unprotected.
Use Starts at to schedule a QR for future availability. Before that time, the QR is considered scheduled and is not routable as an active destination.
Use Expires at to stop the QR after a defined date/time. Expiration must occur after Starts at when both values are present.
Once the expiration time is reached, the listing can show Expired and the public route is no longer considered routable.
A QR can be manually deactivated and later activated from the saved listing or edit controls. Deactivation is useful when you want to stop access without deleting the record.
