29.1 Customizing Bio Content

A Bio Page combines content-level block settings with page-level theme settings. Make content changes in the relevant block and page appearance changes in the Theme/Page details areas.

29.2 Avatar

The Bio Header supports an Avatar URL and an uploaded avatar image. When an avatar file is uploaded, PROS stores it in public storage and writes the public URL back into the Bio Header block.

The builder also supports avatar shapes such as Round, Square, and Hexagon.

29.3 Avatar Border

Avatar border controls include width, color, and styles such as Solid, Dashed, Dotted, Double, or None. Use a simple border that remains readable at mobile size.

29.4 Header Background

The Bio Header can use a Header BG URL or an uploaded header background. The request accepts a header background image up to 4 MB and stores the resulting public URL with the header block.

29.5 Page Background

The page theme can use a Page BG URL or uploaded Page background image. Uploaded page backgrounds are stored in public storage and written into the theme payload.

29.6 Theme Colors

The Theme area controls Background, Text, and Accent values. Quick presets include Minimal, Midnight, Sunset, and Forest, while template-specific themes can supply additional combinations.

  1. Background should provide enough contrast for page text and buttons.
  2. Text color should remain readable against both solid colors and imagery.
  3. Accent should be used consistently for buttons, borders, or highlights.

29.7 Header Card Style

The Bio Header supports outer card styles that the controller normalizes to three main behaviors: glass, bordered, or transparent. The visible builder describes options such as Glass background + border, Transparent background + border, and Transparent with no background or border.

29.8 Link Appearance

Link Stack styling can include variant, icon, link radius, border style/color, and visual effect. Keep link styling consistent so the visitor can identify what is clickable.

29.9 Social Profiles

Use the Social Bar for supported social channels and Custom for destinations that do not match a preset. Always enter complete URLs and verify the account/profile opens in a signed-out browser.

29.10 SEO and Page Metadata

The Bio builder stores SEO title and description values with the page. In the current builder, these are tied to the display name and hero description. Keep the identity information concise and accurate because it can also influence public-page presentation.

29.11 Customization Best Practices

  1. Use one visual identity across avatar, header, page background, and links.
  2. Avoid placing important text over a busy image.
  3. Use short button labels that describe the action.
  4. Keep the top of the page focused on one primary objective.
  5. Test all external links.
  6. Review both light and dark imagery for contrast.
  7. Compress large images before upload to improve load time.
