Website Categories provide an organizational method for grouping websites inside AIUNIFY Leads.
Categories are useful when your organization maintains multiple websites for different brands, business units, industries, campaigns, markets, products, services, or client projects.
The Website Categories workspace is presented as its own management screen with a breadcrumb beginning at Dashboard and continuing to Website Categories.
The availability of category creation, editing, and deletion actions depends on the permissions assigned to the signed-in user.
The confirmed Website Categories list contains the following columns:
| Column | Purpose |
| Name | Identifies the Website Category. |
| Websites Count | Shows how many website records are associated with the category. |
| Action | Contains the category-management actions available to the current user. |
The Website Categories workspace supports filtering by Name.
This becomes useful as the category library grows and you need to locate a particular classification quickly.
Users with the website_categories_create permission, or administrative access, can open the category creation interface.
The confirmed category data includes:
| Field | Requirement |
| Name | Required text value. |
| Image | Optional category image. |
When an image is uploaded for a Website Category, the confirmed validation accepts:
The maximum validated image size is 2048 KB, or approximately 2 MB.
The category interface can display the uploaded category image. If no category image is available, the interface provides an image-placeholder presentation instead.
Category imagery is therefore optional and should be used when a visual distinction between groups is useful.
When category editing is available to your user role, open the category's Action controls and edit the category information.
The same confirmed Name and optional Image rules apply when updating a category.
The Website Categories screen supports deletion for users with the website_categories_delete permission or administrative access.
The interface also supports selected-row deletion when one or more category records have been selected.
Best practice: Review the Websites Count before deleting a category so you understand whether websites are currently associated with it.
A website can reference a Website Category through its Website Category field.
Categories are also used by the Websites workspace as a filtering option, allowing you to narrow the website list to a particular classification.
Create categories that remain useful as your website library expands. Useful organizational approaches may include:
Use category names consistently so that category filtering remains meaningful to other authorized users.
