16.1 Multilingual Website Pages

AIUNIFY Leads separates the underlying Website Page from the language-specific information displayed to visitors.

A page has one Page Key and one website association, while its displayed Name and Header visibility can be stored separately for each Website Language.

This structure allows one logical page to support multiple translated navigation names without creating unrelated page records for every language.

16.2 Confirm the Website Before Creating a Page

Website Pages belong to a specific website.

Before creating or editing a page:

  1. Confirm the correct website is selected.
  2. Confirm the Website Languages already configured for that website.
  3. Determine the Page Key the page will use.
  4. Prepare the page Name for each required language.

16.3 Opening the New Page Form

From the Website Pages workspace, authorized users can open the page-creation interface.

Page creation is protected by the Website Pages creation permission and may also be affected by subscription-module availability.

16.4 Page Key

The Page Key is the stable URL-friendly identifier used by the public website routing system.

A valid Page Key must:

  1. Be provided.
  2. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  3. Contain no more than 255 characters.
  4. Be unique within the selected website.

Example:

about-us

If an invalid format is submitted, the confirmed validation message is:

The page key must be lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only (e.g., about-us).

If the Page Key already exists for that website, the confirmed validation message is:

The page key already exists for this website.

16.5 Language-Specific Page Names

Each page translation contains its own Name.

This lets the same underlying page display a different navigation label for every Website Language.

Example Language Example Page Name
English About Us
Spanish Sobre Nosotros
French À Propos

The translated names can differ while the underlying Page Key remains about-us.

16.6 Show in Header

Each language-specific page translation contains its own Show in Header setting.

This allows header-navigation visibility to be managed for each language independently.

For example, a translated page can be available publicly while being excluded from the Header navigation for a particular language.

16.7 Translation Requirements

The confirmed page request structure requires page translations and associates each translation with a Website Language.

For each translation:

Field Requirement
Website Language Identifies the language belonging to the translation.
Name Required text with a maximum of 255 characters.
Show in Header Optional boolean setting controlling Header inclusion.

16.8 What Happens When a Page Is Created

When AIUNIFY Leads creates a Website Page, the confirmed server workflow:

  1. Resolves the selected website.
  2. Finds the highest current page sort order for that website.
  3. Creates the new Website Page after the existing pages.
  4. Creates the supplied language translations.
  5. Stores each translation's Name and Show in Header value.
  6. Applies applicable shared Header/Footer synchronization for the new page.

The confirmed successful server response is:

Resource created successfully

16.9 Editing an Existing Website Page

Open the page's available Action controls to edit it.

In the confirmed page-editing interface, the Page Key is disabled while editing an existing page. This helps preserve the established URL identity while allowing language-specific page information to be maintained.

During editing, review every language translation rather than changing only the first language shown.

16.10 Editing Translated Page Names

For each configured Website Language:

  1. Locate the translation for that language.
  2. Review the displayed page Name.
  3. Update the Name where needed.
  4. Confirm whether Show in Header should be enabled.
  5. Save the page changes.

16.11 If the Page Cannot Be Found

If the requested Website Page no longer exists when an update is processed, the confirmed controller response is:

Resource not found

Return to Website Pages, refresh the list, and verify that you are working with the correct website.

16.12 Shared Header and Footer Behavior on New Pages

When a new page is created, AIUNIFY Leads can synchronize existing Header and Footer sections according to the website's shared Header/Footer settings.

This helps new pages inherit the established website-wide navigation and Footer structure instead of beginning without those shared sections.

16.13 Recommended Multilingual Page Workflow

  1. Configure Website Languages first.
  2. Open Website Pages for the correct website.
  3. Create a stable Page Key.
  4. Enter the page Name for each configured language.
  5. Set Show in Header for each translation.
  6. Create or update the page.
  7. Arrange the page into the intended page order.
  8. Open Website Builder and build content for the required page/language combinations.
  9. Preview the public website in each language.
