27.1 Creating a Legal Page Manually

Users with website_legal_pages_create permission or administrative access can use the Add action in Website Legal Pages.

Before selecting Add, confirm the selected Website and Website Language.

27.2 Required Fields

The confirmed creation validation requires:

Field	Requirement
Title	Required text.
Slug	Required text and must be unique for the same Company, Website, and Website Language.
Content	Required Legal Page content.
Meta Title	Required text.
Meta Description	Required text.
Meta Keywords	Required text.
Status	Required and must be Active or Inactive.

27.3 Automatic Slug Generation

When creating a new Legal Page, the interface can automatically generate a Slug from the entered Title.

If the user manually changes the generated Slug, the interface recognizes that manual edit rather than continually replacing it from the Title.

Best practice: Choose the final Slug before distributing the Legal Page URL widely.

27.4 Page Content

The Legal Page editor supports rich content. Enter the complete policy, disclosure, agreement, or other required material for that page.

Review headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and other content before saving.

27.5 Search Metadata

Each Legal Page requires:

1. Meta Title.
2. Meta Description.
3. Meta Keywords.

These values are separate from the visible Legal Page Title and Content.

27.6 Show in Footer

New Legal Pages default to Show in Footer = Yes.

The value can also be changed directly from the Legal Pages list through the Show in Footer switch.

27.7 Active and Inactive Status

A Legal Page record stores either an Active or Inactive status.

The workspace lets users filter records according to this state. After changing Status, verify the resulting public website behavior through the Page URL.

27.8 Viewing a Legal Page Record

Users with View permission can open the Legal Page details from:

1. The Title link.
2. The View action.

The details interface presents the stored Legal Page information and supports reviewing its content.

27.9 Editing a Legal Page

Users with website_legal_pages_edit permission or administrative access can edit an existing Legal Page.

The server preserves the Legal Page's original Website and Website Language association during an update.

Important: Editing a Legal Page is not a method for moving it to another Website or Website Language. Create the appropriate record in the intended context instead.

27.10 Slug Changes Across Languages

AIUNIFY Leads treats matching Legal Page Slugs across languages as related page entries.

When the Slug of an existing Legal Page is changed, the confirmed update workflow also changes the same old Slug on the other language entries belonging to that Company and Website.

Important: A Slug change can therefore affect the public URLs of the same Legal Page across multiple Website Languages.

After a Slug change, test every translated version and update any external links that used the prior URL.

27.11 Reordering Legal Pages

Legal Pages can be reordered with the Drag control.

The list is normally retrieved in ascending Display Order.

To change the order:

1. Select the correct Website.
2. Select the correct Website Language.
3. Use a Legal Page's Drag handle.
4. Move the record to the desired position.
5. Release the record.
6. Allow the interface to save the updated Display Order.

27.12 When Drag Ordering Is Disabled

The confirmed interface disables drag sorting when:

1. The Status filter is not set to All, or
2. A Title search is active.

Return to the complete unfiltered list before reorganizing the saved order.

27.13 Copying and Opening the Page URL

For records with a Page URL, the table provides controls to:

1. Copy the URL.
2. Open it in a new browser tab.

Use the public URL review after content, Slug, Status, language, or theme changes.

27.14 Deleting a Legal Page

Users with website_legal_pages_delete permission or administrative access can delete Legal Pages.

The interface requests confirmation before the delete operation.

27.15 Critical Multilingual Delete Behavior

Critical: Deleting one Legal Page causes AIUNIFY Leads to delete the other Legal Page entries that use the same Slug for the same Company and Website.

This means deleting a Legal Page in one Website Language can remove its corresponding language versions as well.

Before confirming deletion:

1. Verify the Website.
2. Identify the Slug.
3. Check the same Slug in the Website's other Languages.
4. Confirm that every language version associated with that Slug should be removed.
5. Only then confirm deletion.

27.16 Recommended Legal Page Maintenance Workflow

1. Confirm Website and Language.
2. Search for an existing Title before creating another record.
3. Create or edit the Legal Page.
4. Review Title, Slug, Content, and metadata.
5. Review Status and Show in Footer.
6. Remove search/status filtering before reordering.
7. Reorder the pages if required.
8. Open the public Page URL.
9. Review every language version.
