A Landing Page form needs a defined visitor experience after the form is successfully submitted.
AIUNIFY Funnels provides a page-level control labeled:
Action after form submission
This setting is configured from the Landing Page Settings area associated with form and payment behavior.
The interface explains the setting with:
All the form in main pages when submit will...
This wording is important: the next action is maintained at the Landing Page Settings level for forms on the Landing Page's Main Page.
The confirmed choices are:
| Go to default Thank You Page | Uses the Landing Page's built-in Thank You Page as the post-submission destination. |
| Redirect to any URL | Uses a separately supplied redirect URL as the post-submission destination. |
Select Go to default Thank You Page when the visitor should continue to the Thank You Page belonging to the current Landing Page.
Before using this option:
Select Redirect to any URL when the visitor should leave the built-in Thank You Page flow and be sent to another web destination.
When this option is selected, AIUNIFY Funnels exposes the field:
Redirect to:
Enter the complete destination URL required for the campaign.
When the form next action is configured as a URL redirect, the Settings update validates the supplied redirect value as a URL.
If the value does not pass URL validation, AIUNIFY Funnels can return:
Redirect URL Not a valid URL
Correct the destination before attempting to save the configuration again.
For an external redirect destination, use a complete web URL in a form that can pass the application's URL validation.
After saving, test the actual form rather than testing only the destination URL separately. The purpose is to confirm that the Landing Page submission workflow reaches the intended destination.
The visitor's post-submission destination and the system's Lead record are separate parts of the workflow.
A Landing Page form can capture submitted field values into the Leads system and then send the visitor to the configured Thank You Page or redirect URL.
Lead-capture behavior is covered in Chapters 32–35.
Form redirection and autoresponder email are also separate functions.
The Action after form submission controls what the visitor sees next in the browser.
The Autoresponder settings control whether a qualifying submitted email address receives the configured email response.
Autoresponder configuration is covered in Chapter 24.
A form can also be connected to a supported mailing platform such as Mailchimp, Acellemail, or Mailwizz.
That integration can add a qualifying captured contact to the configured mailing system independently from the browser's post-submission destination.
If you choose the built-in Thank You Page, review it before launch.
The Main Page and Thank You Page have separate Builder content, so editing the Main Page does not automatically prepare the Thank You Page for the current offer.
Revisit the next-action setting whenever the campaign's offer, Thank You Page, scheduling destination, download destination, or other follow-up path changes.
A visually updated Main Page can still send visitors to an old post-submission destination if the Settings are not reviewed.
Operating principle: Decide what the visitor should experience immediately after form submission, configure that page-level next action, and test the complete public submission workflow from beginning to end.
