27.1 Mailwizz Integration Overview

AIUNIFY Funnels includes a Mailwizz mailing integration for sending qualifying Landing Page Lead information to a selected Mailwizz mailing list.

Mailwizz configuration is maintained within Landing Page Settings and is separate from the Landing Page Autoresponder and visitor redirection controls.

27.2 Email Field Requirement

The Mailwizz interface displays the warning:

The form will subscribe a new contact or lead to the chosen mailing system. Make sure there is an email field in the form!

The mailing workflow requires a submitted email field containing a valid email address for the contact to qualify for the mailing integration.

27.3 Mailwizz Configuration Fields

The confirmed Mailwizz configuration includes:

API Endpoint The URL of the Mailwizz API endpoint.
API token The API credential used to authenticate the connection.
Mailing list The target Mailwizz list for qualifying Landing Page contacts.
Merge fields The stored field information used to align submitted Landing Page values with supported Mailwizz list fields.

27.4 API Endpoint

The API Endpoint is required when Mailwizz is selected.

The interface provides an example endpoint in the form:

https://demo.mailwizz.com/api/index.php

The application validates the supplied API Endpoint as a URL. Use the complete API Endpoint for the Mailwizz installation you intend to connect.

27.5 API Token

The API token is required.

Enter the API credential associated with the Mailwizz account or installation being connected.

Because this token grants integration access, keep it private and use it only in the authenticated integration configuration.

27.6 Mailing List

The Mailing list selection is required.

After the connection information is available, AIUNIFY Funnels can request the lists exposed by the Mailwizz connection.

Select the list that belongs to the current Landing Page campaign.

27.7 Connection and List Operations

AIUNIFY Funnels provides authenticated integration operations for:

Test connection Checks the selected integration connection information.
Lists Retrieves available mailing lists.
Merge fields Retrieves supported fields for the selected mailing list.

27.8 Valid Fields from Your List

The Mailwizz interface displays:

Valid fields from your list

Use these values to determine which form information can be aligned with the selected Mailwizz list.

27.9 Matching Landing Page Fields

The interface states:

Change name your form fields with fields in your chosen integration, so that the data is saved correctly

Use the underlying Landing Page field names when planning the mapping. A visual field label does not necessarily mean the submitted field name is the same.

27.10 Mailwizz Field-Type Guidance

The Mailwizz interface also states:

We suggest using TEXT type fields in Mailwizz lists

Review your Mailwizz mailing-list fields accordingly when building the Landing Page form.

27.11 What AIUNIFY Funnels Saves

When Mailwizz is selected, the saved Landing Page integration settings can include:

  1. The integration type as Mailwizz.
  2. API Endpoint.
  3. API token.
  4. Mailing list.
  5. Merge-field configuration.

27.12 Mailwizz Connection Structure

The confirmed Mailwizz integration helper configures its Mailwizz API client using the saved API URL and API Key/token information.

For this reason, both connection values must correspond to the same Mailwizz installation.

27.13 Form Submission and Mailing Processing

The Landing Page submission can first capture the Lead inside AIUNIFY Funnels and then process the configured mailing integration for a qualifying email submission.

The visitor's browser destination after submission is controlled separately through the Landing Page form next-action setting.

27.14 Recommended Mailwizz Setup Workflow

  1. Confirm the Landing Page form contains a field named email.
  2. Open Landing Page Settings.
  3. Select Mailwizz.
  4. Enter the API Endpoint.
  5. Enter the API token.
  6. Test the connection.
  7. Load and select the correct Mailing list.
  8. Review the valid fields returned for the list.
  9. Align Landing Page form fields with the intended Mailwizz fields.
  10. Save Landing Page Settings.
  11. Submit a public test Lead.
  12. Confirm the Lead exists inside AIUNIFY Funnels.
  13. Confirm the contact appears in the intended Mailwizz list.

27.15 Troubleshooting Mailwizz

If a test Lead is stored in AIUNIFY Funnels but is not added to Mailwizz, check the API Endpoint, API token, selected Mailing list, valid email field, and field mappings before changing the Landing Page's browser redirect settings.

Operating principle: Treat Mailwizz as its own integration step. Validate the connection, list, email field, and field alignment, then confirm the result directly in the target mailing list.
