6.1 Overview

After you create and connect a Website to AIUNIFY Analytics, the Websites area becomes the central place for managing that Website and any additional Websites connected to your account.

Navigate to:

Websites

The system describes this area as:

View and manage all your added websites.

From the Websites screen, you can:

  1. View all Websites connected to your account
  2. See Website Pageview usage
  3. Review current-month usage
  4. Identify whether a Website is Active or Disabled
  5. Identify whether it uses Advanced or Lightweight Tracking
  6. See whether Visitor Events, Replays, Outbound Clicks, and Email Reports are enabled
  7. Open the Dashboard for a Website
  8. Reopen its Tracking Code
  9. Open its Public Statistics link when enabled
  10. Edit Website settings
  11. Search and filter Websites
  12. Export your Website list
  13. Import Websites from CSV
  14. Reset Website statistics
  15. Delete Websites
  16. Perform bulk deletion

The Websites screen presents this information directly in the Website table.

6.2 Opening the Websites Area

To manage your Websites:

  1. Sign in to AIUNIFY Analytics.
  2. Select Websites from the navigation.
  3. The Websites page opens.
  4. Review the Website or Websites listed in the table.

If no Websites have been added, Analytics displays the prompt to add your first Website.

6.3 Understanding the Websites Table

Each Website appears as a separate row.

The main table contains:

  1. Website
  2. Pageviews
  3. Usage
  4. Tracking
  5. Feature/status indicators
  6. Website action controls

The Pageviews and Usage information shown in this table relates to This month.

This allows you to review several Websites from one management screen without opening each Dashboard individually.

6.4 Website Name and Address

The first column identifies the Website.

It displays:

  1. Website Name
  2. Domain or Website path
  3. Website favicon
  4. External Website link

The Website Name is clickable and opens the Website's Edit website screen.

For example, you might see:

AIUNIFY Corporate Site

poweredbyaiunify.com

or:

Sales Funnel

example.com/sales

This makes it easier to distinguish multiple tracked properties.

6.5 Opening the Live Website

Next to the Website address is an external-link control.

Use it when you want to open the actual tracked Website in a new browser tab.

This is useful when:

  1. Testing the Tracking Code
  2. Comparing Analytics data with the live Website
  3. Checking a specific Website path
  4. Generating test activity
  5. Verifying that the correct property is being analyzed

The Website list builds this external link from the saved Website host and path.

6.6 Current-Month Pageviews

The Websites table displays the Website's current-month Pageviews count.

Selecting the Pageviews number opens that Website's Dashboard.

This gives you a quick way to move from:

Website Management → Website Analytics

without first switching Websites manually.

6.7 Understanding Usage

The Usage area helps you understand how much of the available Analytics capacity the Website is using.

Depending on Tracking Type and account features, usage information can include:

  1. Pageviews
  2. Visitors Events
  3. Replays
  4. Heatmaps
  5. Goals

The interface compares current usage with the applicable account limit.

For example, usage may conceptually appear as:

Pageviews

Current usage / Available limit

Visitors Events

Current usage / Available limit

Replays

Current usage / Available limit

An infinity symbol can be used where the applicable limit is unlimited.

6.8 Why Usage Matters

Usage helps you determine whether a Website is approaching an account limit.

This can be particularly important for high-traffic Websites using:

  1. Large numbers of Pageviews
  2. Visitor Events
  3. Session Replays
  4. Heatmaps
  5. Multiple Goals

If a feature appears unavailable or stops allowing additional usage, review the Website's Usage information and your account availability before assuming the Website is malfunctioning.

6.9 Active and Disabled Websites

The Websites table shows the tracking state of each Website.

You may see:

Active

Tracking is enabled for the Website.

Disabled

Tracking has been disabled for the Website.

The Websites screen displays these states as status badges.

Remember:

Disabled does not mean deleted.

The Website still exists in Analytics, but its Tracking setting has been turned off.

6.10 Identifying the Tracking Type

The Website row also identifies whether the Website uses:

  1. Advanced tracking
  2. Lightweight tracking

The system uses separate indicators for each Tracking Type.

This is useful when you manage several properties because different Websites can use different tracking approaches.

For example:

Website A → Advanced Tracking

Website B → Lightweight Tracking

The features available when you select each Website can therefore be different.

6.11 Feature Status Indicators

The Websites table provides additional visual indicators for enabled Website features.

Depending on Tracking Type and account configuration, these can include:

  1. Visitors Events
  2. Replays
  3. Track Outbound Clicks
  4. Email Reports

The system uses different badge states to indicate whether those functions are enabled or disabled.

This gives you a quick configuration overview without opening Edit website.

6.12 Switching to a Website's Dashboard

There are multiple ways to work with a different Website.

From the Websites page, clicking its Pageviews value opens the Dashboard for that Website.

You can also use the Website Selector elsewhere in Analytics.

As explained in Chapter 2:

  1. Open the Website Selector.
  2. Choose the Website.
  3. Analytics makes that property the selected Website.
  4. Website-specific Analytics areas then display data for that property.

Always verify the selected Website before interpreting Analytics results.

6.13 Reopening the Tracking Code

Each Website row contains a Tracking code control represented by the code icon.

To reopen the code:

  1. Open Websites.
  2. Locate the desired Website.
  3. Click its Tracking Code/code icon.
  4. The Install pixel window opens.
  5. Click Copy pixel if you need the code again.

The button is associated with that Website's unique pixel key and Analytics base URL.

This is useful when:

  1. Installing Analytics on a newly redesigned Website
  2. Reinstalling the code
  3. Giving the code to a Website administrator or developer
  4. Confirming which Tracking Code belongs to the Website
  5. Moving the code to a new Website template

You do not need to create another Website just to retrieve its Tracking Code.

6.14 Public Statistics Button

When Public statistics has been enabled for a Website, a Public Statistics control becomes available in its Website row.

Selecting it opens the Website's Public Statistics window.

The system generates a shareable statistics URL in the format associated with that Website's unique key.

The window provides:

  1. The Public Statistics URL
  2. View
  3. Copy URL

If Public Statistics is disabled, the control is disabled.

6.15 Editing a Website

To modify a Website:

  1. Open Websites.
  2. Locate the Website.
  3. Click its Website Name,

or:

  1. Open the Website's actions menu.
  2. Select Edit.

The actions menu contains:

  1. Edit
  2. Reset
  3. Delete

The Edit website screen then opens.

6.16 What Can Be Edited?

The Edit Website screen allows you to modify many of the settings originally configured during creation.

These include:

  1. Name
  2. Website
  3. https:// or http://
  4. Custom Domain, when available
  5. Tracking
  6. Track Outbound Clicks
  7. Track Visitors Events for Advanced Websites
  8. Session Replays
  9. Email Reports
  10. Public Statistics
  11. Public Statistics password
  12. Bot Exclusion
  13. Track Query Parameters
  14. IP Tracking, when available
  15. Excluded IPs
  16. Session Replay hidden-text selectors

The edit screen exposes the Website name, Website address, Custom Domain, tracking controls, and related Website options.

6.17 Tracking Type Cannot Be Edited

One important field is visible on the Edit Website screen but disabled:

Tracking type

Analytics displays the existing Tracking Type but does not allow you to change it.

For example, if the Website was created as:

Lightweight tracking

you cannot simply edit the Website and switch it to:

Advanced tracking

The disabled field confirms the system behavior explained earlier in this manual.

6.18 Enabling or Disabling Tracking

Inside Edit website, locate:

Tracking

Use the switch to:

  1. Enable Website tracking
  2. Disable Website tracking

The Website remains in your Analytics account either way.

The Edit screen preserves the Website and simply changes whether tracking is active.

When you might disable Tracking

Examples include:

  1. Website maintenance
  2. Temporary campaign pause
  3. Tracking/privacy review
  4. Website redesign
  5. Testing
  6. A property no longer actively being measured

If you may need the Website configuration or historical Analytics again, disabling Tracking is generally different from deleting the Website.

6.19 Updating Feature Settings

For Advanced Tracking Websites, the Edit screen can also allow you to turn supported behavioral features on or off.

Examples include:

Track Visitors Events

Controls detailed interaction tracking.

Session Replays

Controls Session Replay collection.

The edit form only exposes those Advanced-specific options when the Website uses Advanced Tracking and the applicable features are available.

6.20 Updating Email Reports

If Email Reports are available to your account, the Website's Edit website screen lets you enable or disable them.

This allows you to change reporting preferences after the Website has already been created.

You do not need to reinstall the Tracking Code simply because you change the Email Report setting.

6.21 Updating Public Statistics

The Edit Website screen contains the same Public statistics section introduced during Website creation.

You can:

  1. Enable Public Statistics
  2. Disable Public Statistics
  3. Configure its password

After enabling Public Statistics and saving the Website, return to the Websites list to access its shareable statistics link.

6.22 Updating Advanced Settings

The Advanced section of Edit Website lets you change supported settings such as:

  1. Bot Exclusion
  2. Track Query Parameters
  3. IP Tracking
  4. Excluded IPs
  5. Session Replays – Hide Text Selector

The actual edit form contains those controls and ends with Update.

After making changes:

  1. Review the settings.
  2. Click Update.
  3. Return to the Websites area as needed.
  4. Verify the updated status indicators.

Chapter 7 will explain these Website configuration options in greater operational detail.

6.23 Searching and Filtering Websites

If you manage several Websites, use the Filters control on the Websites page.

You can search by:

  1. Name
  2. Website

You can also filter by:

  1. Status
  2. Tracking Type
  3. Custom Domain, when available
  4. Date
  5. Last activity date

This is especially useful for accounts containing many Websites.

6.24 Filtering by Status

The Status filter provides:

  1. All
  2. Active
  3. Disabled

Use this when you want to find:

  1. Only Websites currently collecting Analytics
  2. Websites that have been intentionally disabled
  3. Older properties that may need review

6.25 Filtering by Tracking Type

The Websites Filters also provide:

Tracking type

with:

  1. All
  2. Advanced tracking
  3. Lightweight tracking

For example, you could use this to quickly find all Advanced Tracking Websites when reviewing Replay or Visitor Event configuration.

6.26 Searching by Website Name or Address

The filter lets you select what field should be searched.

Available options include:

  1. Name
  2. Website

For example:

Search by Name when you know:

Corporate Website

Search by Website when you know:

example.com

6.27 Sorting the Website List

Websites can be ordered using fields including:

  1. ID
  2. Date
  3. Last activity date
  4. Name
  5. Website
  6. Pageviews

You can also choose:

  1. Ascending
  2. Descending

and select the number of results displayed per page.

These controls become particularly useful as the number of tracked Websites grows.

6.28 Exporting the Website List

The Websites page includes an Export control.

Depending on what is enabled for your account, supported export options include:

  1. CSV
  2. JSON
  3. PDF

To export Websites

  1. Open Websites.
  2. Apply any Filters you want.
  3. Select the Export control.
  4. Choose an available format:
  5. CSV
  6. JSON
  7. PDF
  8. Analytics processes the Website list using the current view/filter context.

Unavailable formats may appear disabled depending on your account capabilities.

6.29 Why Export the Website List?

Website exports can be useful for:

  1. Account audits
  2. Administrative records
  3. Reporting
  4. Website inventory
  5. Data review
  6. Migration planning
  7. Internal documentation
  8. Comparing Website configurations

Remember that this export concerns the Website records/list.

Other Analytics areas have their own data export controls for their respective datasets.

6.30 Importing Websites

AIUNIFY Analytics also provides:

Import websites

The Websites screen contains an upload/import control that opens the Import websites page.

This function allows multiple Website records to be created using a CSV file rather than entering each Website manually.

6.31 Opening Import Websites

To use the importer:

  1. Open Websites.
  2. Click the Import/upload icon.
  3. The Import websites screen opens.
  4. Select a CSV file.
  5. Click Submit.

The import screen provides a required CSV file field and a downloadable example CSV file.

6.32 CSV Import Fields

The Import Websites screen identifies supported CSV columns including:

  1. name
  2. host
  3. scheme
  4. domain_id
  5. excluded_ips
  6. outbound_clicks_is_enabled
  7. events_children_is_enabled
  8. sessions_replays_is_enabled
  9. sessions_replays_hide_text_selector
  10. email_reports_is_enabled
  11. bot_exclusion_is_enabled
  12. query_parameters_tracking_is_enabled
  13. ip_storage_is_enabled
  14. public_statistics_is_enabled
  15. public_statistics_password
  16. is_enabled

The system also provides an example CSV file from the Import Websites screen.

Best practice: Download and use the system's example CSV as your starting template rather than manually guessing the column structure.

6.33 Import Requirements

At minimum, imported rows require usable:

  1. name
  2. host

Rows that do not contain the required Website information can be skipped.

The importer also:

  1. Validates the uploaded file
  2. Checks Website/domain restrictions
  3. Generates a unique Tracking Code key for each successfully imported Website
  4. Stops when the account Website limit is reached

After the import is complete, Analytics reports how many Websites were successfully imported and returns you to the Websites page.

6.34 Website Limits Also Apply to Imports

Importing Websites does not bypass your account's Website limit.

The importer checks your available Website capacity before processing and stops importing when the applicable limit is reached.

If you need more Website capacity, the account configuration must support it before additional Websites can be added.

6.35 Bulk Actions

The Websites page includes Bulk actions for the account owner.

To use them:

  1. Open Websites.
  2. Activate Bulk actions.
  3. Selection boxes appear.
  4. Select one or more Websites.
  5. Choose the available bulk action.

The source currently exposes Delete as the Website bulk action.

Use bulk deletion carefully because it can affect multiple Website records at once.

6.36 Resetting a Website

Each Website's actions menu contains:

Reset

Reset is different from disabling or deleting a Website.

The application's Reset confirmation describes the action as resetting the resource and clearing its associated logs or statistics, and warns that the action cannot be undone.

Reset is intended for situations such as:

  1. Starting Analytics collection over
  2. Clearing historical testing data
  3. Removing previously collected statistics
  4. Reinitializing a Website after development/testing
  5. Beginning a fresh Analytics measurement period

6.37 What Reset Does

The Website Reset operation keeps the Website record itself but clears major stored Analytics associated with that property.

The actual reset process clears data including:

  1. Visitor records
  2. Visitor Sessions
  3. Session Events
  4. Lightweight Events
  5. Goal Conversions
  6. Heatmap snapshots

It also clears the stored Heatmap snapshot references for the Website's Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile Heatmaps.

Because Reset is destructive, only use it when you intentionally want to clear Analytics history.

Warning: Reset cannot be undone.

6.38 Reset vs. Disable Tracking

These actions are very different.

Disable Tracking

Keeps the Website + Keeps existing Analytics + Stops ongoing collection

Use this when you want to pause tracking.

Reset

Keeps the Website configuration + Clears associated Analytics/statistics

Use this when you intentionally want to start the Website's Analytics data over.

Do not use Reset when all you want to do is temporarily stop tracking.

6.39 Deleting a Website

The Website actions menu also contains:

Delete

Selecting it opens:

Delete website

The system warns:

All data related to the website will be completely deleted. This action cannot be undone.

This is the most destructive Website management action.

6.40 How to Delete a Website

To permanently remove a Website:

  1. Open Websites.
  2. Locate the Website.
  3. Open its action menu.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Review the warning.
  6. Click Delete to confirm.

The Website is then removed from your account.

The deletion process also removes associated Session Replay resources before deleting the Website record.

Warning: Website deletion cannot be undone.

6.41 Reset vs. Delete

Understanding this distinction is critical.

ActionWebsite RecordHistorical AnalyticsContinue Using Same Website Record?
Disable TrackingKeptKeptYes
ResetKeptCleared/resetYes
DeleteRemovedRemoved with WebsiteNo

Use the least destructive action that accomplishes your goal.

6.42 Team Access and Website Management

Team members can be given access to Analytics Websites, but some Website ownership actions are restricted.

The source prevents Team context from performing actions such as:

  1. Creating Websites
  2. Editing owner Website configuration
  3. Resetting Websites
  4. Deleting Websites

For example, both Website Reset and Delete explicitly reject Team-context requests.

This protects Website ownership and destructive management functions from shared Team access.

6.43 Recommended Website Management Routine

For organizations managing Analytics continuously, consider this routine:

Weekly

Review:

  1. Active/Disabled status
  2. Current Pageviews
  3. Usage
  4. Tracking status
  5. Feature indicators

Monthly

Review:

  1. Website usage against account limits
  2. Visitor Event usage
  3. Replay usage
  4. Heatmaps
  5. Goals
  6. Email Report settings
  7. Old or unused Websites

When Website Changes Occur

Review:

  1. Website/domain address
  2. Tracking Code installation
  3. Query Parameter settings
  4. Excluded IPs
  5. Replay privacy selectors
  6. Tracking state

Before Deleting Anything

Determine whether you actually need:

Disable → Reset → Delete

in that order of destructiveness.

6.44 Website Management Checklist

When reviewing a Website, confirm:

  1. Website Name is correct
  2. Domain/path is correct
  3. Tracking is Active if collection is intended
  4. Tracking Type is understood
  5. Monthly Pageviews look reasonable
  6. Usage is within account limits
  7. Outbound Click tracking is configured correctly
  8. Visitor Events are configured correctly for Advanced Tracking
  9. Session Replays are configured correctly
  10. Email Reports are configured correctly
  11. Public Statistics settings are appropriate
  12. Tracking Code is still installed on the correct Website
  13. Excluded IPs remain accurate
  14. Advanced privacy/tracking controls remain appropriate

6.45 What You Should Know Before Moving On

At this point, you should be able to manage the lifecycle of a Website inside AIUNIFY Analytics:

Add → Connect → View → Select → Monitor Usage → Edit → Enable/Disable → Export → Import → Reset → Delete

The Websites page gives you both a Website inventory and a quick operational status view, including monthly Pageviews, usage, Tracking Type, active/disabled status, enabled features, Public Statistics, and Tracking Code access.
